Halb vergessen und eben seit langen mal wieder und zum ersten Mal über die Annies gehört:
„Cardiff by the Sea” von Thom Rotella.
Dynamik ohne Ende, sehr räumlich, sensationelle Aufnahme! Voll der Cinema-Breitwandsound. Laut Hören. Kommt im Qobuz-Stream, obwohl lediglich in CD-Auflösung, richtig, richtig gut. Schwelg.
P.S.: Der Rest des Albums (Without Words) ist überwiegen „Fahrstuhlmusik”, wie meine bessere Hälfte eben trocken bemerkte, aber manchmal bin ich halt in Stimmung dafür, und CbtS reißt es dann so richtig raus.
