first of all a thousand apologies for the late response but not being familiar with the Bach's language... I had difficulty registering!!!  

Thank you Uli for this beautiful text in the form of a report which shows me an unexpected side of your personality... I knew already your very fine German humor and your taste for elliptical words, but this is a masterclass, Bravo!!!

To answer your question, Yes I heard you!... you spoke so loudly that your words crossed the border and they are imprinted in my mind, I'm going to see what I can do to equip the Arno with 'a remote control...  

Regarding the discussion on the cables and the respective lengths my opinion is that: The musical signal does not like to cross resistors, inductors and capacitors except when it is actively obligatory... a cable being all that at the same time then the least it is the best... in audio many times less is more!!!...

I will continue to follow this discussion thread and I am at your disposal for any questions...
