during the development of the Arno we tested the TDA2050 as well as the LM1875 and all its Chinese clones...
The perceived differences being in favor of the original LM1875, it is the one we chose and which equips the Arno until now...
A chipamp, like any other amplifier circuit, is dependent on its power supply, passive components as well as the design of the tracks etc...
If the Arno has a tube at the input it is because it turned out to be necessary to obtain the result we wanted... this shows that the chipamp in itself was not sufficient for us!
