Hello Rupert and everyone else,
exceptionally I will write this message in english because Google is not always very reliable and the semantics end up saying something other than the original...
This situation is a bit complicated for me: If I respond I appear as intrusive, and if I don't I appear as someone indifferent... neither of them is comfortable for me so I've choosed to respond. ..
First of all, I'm not annoyed or even upset by your tweeks, I've simply expressed my views privately regarding this. You are not the first and you will not be the last to modify a commercial audio device, Arno or other... the history of audiophilia is closely linked to the principle of try and attempt, and its what we're talking about, and its what you're doing with your Arno !!!
Likewise, the Arno is not a church nor a work of art and so there, for me, is nothing sacred to preserve for eternity! As I said, I may understand your point of view and through your message you seem near to understand mine... it is in this fragile space of mutual understanding that the matter should be closed and take on its deep meaning for both of us.
Simply, for me there was no need to make it public, it's not the right way in my humble opinion... and for real, its not cool!!!
Best regards,
Paulo
